This artist, outdoorsman, writer, friend, family member has had a profound impact on all of our lives. This website is just a short tribute to that genius. 

Ever since spending a full summer in Alaska with his aunt and uncle when he was 13, nature has been a main theme in all of Roger's art work.  Art has always been been a large component of Roger's persona. He has mostly done art out of the sheer joy of doing art, but his portfolio also includes doing covers for "Midstate Outdoors", a regional sportsman's magazine and designing a label for a jar of vegetable salsa. The talent just does not end.

 Roger has shown great talent in his ability to tell vivid stories of his many adventures in the wild. He also expresses his great concern over the environment in persuasive essays. This is a short collection of non-fictional works by Roger and other written works that include him as a main protagonist. Who needs Waldemar? We have a writer for this generation.

With only a few borrowed books from the library, this self taught entrepreneur launched successful businesses in two different states. From Ager Taxidermy to Northland Wildlife Studios, Roger has all the business he can handle from clients all over the country paying top dollar for his expertise. 

This is a guy, who, during his 20's, went fishing 5-6 days out of a week. Roger has caught and consumed literally thousands of wild fish, small and large game animals in his 50 years... enough to populate a small world if left to reproduce. Roger has the ethic that anything he kills is consumed or used in his art. 

From his zany half-fish half-alligator taxidermic creations, to his sharp sense of irony, Roger has a great sense of humor. Here are just a few things to laugh at...
